This program has come as a result of an issue brought fourth in the 1999 Texas
Community Futures Forum, a state-wide forum sponsored by Texas Cooperative
Extension to identify local needs. From this forum, the issue of "Keeping 4-H Programs
Active in the County" was identified. Participating in 4-H teaches you important skills
and exposes you to new experiences that will have a lasting impact on your life. As a 4-H
member, 4-H parent, or adult leader, you should pat yourself on the back, because you
are "Making The Best Better" in every aspect of your life.
