| 2001 CYBER CAMP |
| JUNE 24-29, 2001 |
| GEORGE & OPAL BENTLEY 4-H CENTER |
The objective of the week-long event is to help youth throughout the state become aware of the many career opportunities and adventures in the technology field. The camp emphasizes hand-on group project work. While the camp focuses on computer skills and competencies beyond what is taught in school, time is made available for recreation. |
This year the committee is inviting sixteen boys and sixteen girls from across the sate to attend camp. Participants must be in the 7th grade through the 12th grade and have an interest in computers and be willing to participate as a team member during the week long camp. The campers will be divided into three groups of different learning skills. |
This is also an excellent opportunity for Teachers and Volunteers to learn more about computers. Four adults will be recruited to participate. They will also serve as cabin directors and councilors. |
Applications are available in our office and can be obtained by calling us @ 830-683-4310 or coming by. |
| DEADLINE TO HAVE APPLICATIONS IN OUR OFFICE IS MAY 21, 2001 |
| Cost of the camp will be $165.00 and will include meals and lodging. In case of cancellations, refunds will be offered in full before Tuesday, June 19, 2001. After that date the payment is non-refundable. |
