Essay & Poster Contest
The West Nueces-Las Moras Soil & Water Conservation is conducting an Essay and Poster contest.  
 
The Essay Contest is an essay written about:
 Soil and Water Conservation
 
Requirements for the Essay are:
 
Must be a student that is 18 and younger
300 words maximum
Must have title on page including Title, Name, Address, Grade.
Deadline will be January 18, 2002.
 
Prizes will be:
 
1st Place - $50.00 with a plaque
2nd Place - $ 30.00 with a plaque
 
 
 
 
The theme for the Poster contest is:
 
“Habitats for Life” or “The Gift of Trees”
 
Requirements for the Poster are:
 
Must be a student that is 12 and younger
Standard poster board cut in half (22"x14")
Flat art work.......... NO 3D art
Name, Teacher’s name and Grade on BACK
 
Deadline will be January 25, 2002.
 
Prizes will be:
 
1st Place - $ 30 worth of MOVIE DOLLARS to the theater in Del Rio at the mall and a plaque
 
2nd Place - T-Shirt (sunlight activated) NEAT!!!!
 
3rd Place - 2 How to Draw Books ( animals)
