CCYF Board Regular Meeting - Changed to March 24th, 7 p.m. at Complex. Their Annual Meeting - open to all youth and adults is set for March 31st at the Complex at 7 p.m. This is when comments, suggestions, concerns are presented by YOU to the board, board members are elected for specific positions and checks are distributed to club managers.Remember those thank you letters!

Youth who will be in the third grade and eight years old as of August 31st through the age of 18 are invited to join Coryell County 4-H for our upcoming new year! 4-H offers a variety of positive opportunities for youth to learn together, while having fun! Youth may enroll through a local 4-H club by attending the club's meeting and completing the official enrollment form. Enrollment may be completed at any time throughout the year. However, in order to participate in the county fair or other 4-H related contests, membership may be required by a specific date.

Adult volunteers are also needed and should plan to enroll as well. Adults help 4-H'ers learn by giving leadership to various aspects of our program from helping to plan activities to serving as &subject matter& teachers for the youth! To help assure the safety of our 4-H youth praticipations, prior to acceptance as a 4-H volunteer, the adult must pass a volunteer screening process which is required by the State 4-H program. Volunteers may also register by attending a local club meeting.

Contact the Coryell County Extension Office (254-865-2414) to find out about the club nearest you! Members must enroll by attending a local 4-H club meeting.
